April 2026

Thank you for praying! Seven people were trained in Gospel Conversation principles on how to share the Gospel and their testimony. We will be facilitating this training frequently in the west end and look forward to how the Lord will use these simple tools to open doors for people to not just learn the ways of Jesus, but to live them out through Gospel conversations, discovery, and multiplication.

We trust that as everyday believers are equipped and sent, more people will have the opportunity to hear the hope of Jesus until there is no place left untouched by the Gospel!

This right here is part of the heartbeat behind why we gather house to house as the church. We want to see everyday believers equipped to live missionally, make disciples, and help start multiplying communities of faith around them. It is more than just gathering together, but learning to faithfully live out and pass on ways of Jesus with everyday life.

Join us in praying that what starts in this one home would multiply into more homes, more lives transformed, and more people coming to know and follow Jesus!

Sneek peak into office life! It is so fun to look up throughout the day and see conversations happening, prayers being lifted, ideas being dreamed about, and people faithfully working together for the Kingdom.

Jeremy and I both serve within Team Expansion during the day, while also living missionally beyond our specific roles. We are thrilled experiencing the Lord living on mission, getting connected with like-minded folks to serve with, facilitating trainings, and opportunities to equip others to live on mission right where they are. It has been such a gift to connect with like-minded people who carry a heart for the Kingdom and a desire to see the Gospel multiplied into homes, neighborhoods, and nations!

Jeremy serves as Team Expansion’s partnership development coach and Jonathan Training Director. Jeremy will be leading and expanding the org’s D-COURSE initiatives (we participated in this with four other people 2016-2017), helping create a fully immersive discipleship and training experiences that equip people to live missionally through hands on learning, spiritual and leadership formation, and practical ministry engagement.

Lindsay is the AWL-IN (Exodus 21:6) volunteer coordinator. Since arriving and dedicating to this initiative full time since February, seven volunteers have either completed onboarding through Launch or actively serving. Huge praise- one participant didn't even finish the first onboarding and decided to join Team Expansion as a full time worker! In addition, four prospective volunteers have received an application and currently in the pipeline to attend Launch this year. AWL-IN volunteerism is brand new and demonstrating strong early momentum!

Thunder Over Louisville 2026!

IT WAS SO COLD but so fun too! Grateful to be with our church, team, and Nissy and the kids from Blo-No!

Date Night Ziegs!

We have found "our place" here in Louisville, right on the water. It is our little place to slow down by the river and soak up the awesomeness of our season the Lord has us in. Come visit us so we can take you to Captain's Quarters!

A Note From Doug

Courage is Contagious A veteran Army Ranger recently explained, “Courage is Contagious.” We see this in a battle when a commander risks it all to save one soldier and, in turn, inspires many to go way beyond the call of duty, displaying radical bravery in the face of danger. Today more than ever, Christians need courage to share the Good News of Jesus when it’s perhaps not politically correct to do so. Team Expansion workers often go even farther, leaving everything familiar – their hometown, the house, the car, grandparents, and even the family dog – to share Christ with villages who might not even want them at first. Churches, donors, and prayer partners show wild amounts of initiative and bravery to give, pray, and encourage teams toward growth no matter the cost. God inspires, people obey, and churches multiply. We’re all in this together. Thankfully, courage is contagious.
